Round 15 vs Mooroopna.

The 3rds boys went into the match clear underdogs against a very strong Mooroopna out. The tiges played some great footy in the first quarter going into the first break down by just 3 points. But thats the closest the boys got for the day with Mooroopna kicking 14 goals to the boys none. Final score Mooroopna 14.12.96 defeated Rochy 0.2.2.

The 3rds boys are sitting in 11th on the ladder with 3 rounds to go. Great chance to get there 2nd win for the year against Tatura.

The 2nds boys played 3 solid quarters, going into the 3 quarter time break. But were over run in the last with Mooroopna kicking 5 goals to 1. Lewis Dwyer played his best game for the year booting 4 goals. Final score Mooroopna 12.7..79 defeated Rochy 7.6.48.

The seniors match against mooroopna was a must win for boys. A very even first term with both teams kicking 3 goals, the boys kicking with the wind in the 2nd quarter made the most of it. 3 goal to 1 in that term the boys took at 22 point lead into the half time break. The boys rallied after a tough 3rd term to run out 5 goal winners. Daniel Anderson and Ash Watson were great all day, Grant Weeks booted 5 and was well supported by Chris Sanders who snagged 3.

The senior boys are sitting in 5th position a game clear of Mooroopna and Shepp United. A win this week could also secure the boys a final berth.
